world generationterrain, villages, structures

Vanilla's generators ported to Rust: noise terrain, aquifers, carvers, features and structures, in all three dimensions. 2,352 whole chunks match vanilla in the harness.

my main project · Minecraft in Rust
Minecraft: Java Edition 26.3 rewritten from scratch in Rust: a native game that reads the same worlds, follows the same rules and generates the same terrain, checked against the original by 281 differential harnesses, all of them matching. Playable on Linux, macOS and Windows through its launcher, with invite codes to play with friends, resource and shader packs, and its own mod system. New versions ship several times a day.

Each harness runs the same inputs through Horizon and through the vanilla client and server code from your own copy of the game, and compares the outputs. 100% means everything the harnesses compare, not proof that nothing else differs. Horizon contains no Minecraft code or assets, so you need your own copy of Minecraft: Java Edition 26.3. Not an official Minecraft product, and not affiliated with Mojang or Microsoft. Free and MIT licensed.

Every screenshot here is the Rust client with vanilla assets, no mods and no shaders. Mobs, villagers, raids, redstone, every command and vanilla saves all run in it, and distant terrain reaches up to 1,024 chunks.

Installs and updates Horizon, prepares its resources from your own copy of Minecraft, and starts the client. It also hosts a server from its Servers page, reads a modpack to see which of its mods Horizon can carry over, and installs resource and shader packs from Modrinth. Also a command-line tool and an MCP server.
a joint project · mobile app for musicians · App Store · v2.13
DISPO is made together with Raphaël Herrera, its co-creator. It is a joint project, not part of my solo work. When a musician drops out of a gig or a rehearsal, DISPO finds someone free to step in, by instrument, level, style and the songs they already know. It also runs your bands, with sessions, attendance, setlists and shared repertoires, and helps you practise: a stopwatch and your own files on every song, plus a practice journal, a metronome and a tuner with Premium. Version 2.13 is on the App Store for iPhone, 2.14 is in review, and Android is on the way.
