About Event
Join Black Girl Environmentalist for an Environmental Justice Walk led by Empower DC.
Ivy City is one of DC’s oldest Black communities and has faced decades of industrial encroachment, pollution, and environmental health concerns. We'll learn about the neighborhood’s history, hear from community organizers and residents, and see firsthand the challenges and ongoing projects shaping Ivy City's future.
