Jude gave me a professional, insightful and useful report which has given me the confidence and resources to take my project to the next level.

Kate copyedited my debut novel, and I could not be more pleased with the experience or the result. My publisher requires authors on its imprint to arrange their own copyediting, so I came to Reedsy looking for someone with real literary experience — and Kate delivered on every count. She was a clear, prompt communicator from start to finish, and when her schedule unexpectedly opened up, she offered to begin the project early. Her editing was thorough and complete, and here is the measure of h...

I want to begin this review with four Words: Tricia saved my manuscript. When I first wrote this manuscript - after personal attempts at editing, I initially sent it to QT. I got nothing but rejections. It made me sit back and ask myself, "Is there something wrong with this? What am I not seeing that they are seeing?" And as a writer, dealing with multiple literary agents, it's hard to understand what they are explicitly looking for unless you are already in the know. So, I after researchi...

Rebecca is a professional, extremely punctual and attentive to detail. I am completely satisfied with the work she has done.

Lia was an incredible editor and co-creator to work with to bring my first spiritual awakening book into form. Since I was very new to structuring a book, Lia guided me immensely through the developmental edit to make my manuscript more robust, impactful, succinct and flowing. She offered super helpful feedback on where to clarify parts, bring my storytelling more to life, add examples and link each chapter so it all weaves together seamlessly. Through implementing her feedback, I found mysel...

I am absolutely thrilled with the work Debbie has done on my manuscript. Her guidance in identifying and filling gaps in my story has been invaluable. Every suggestion and pointer feels like a masterclass in writing - it's as if she's helped me discover a better writer inside myself. Her insight, encouragement, and attention to detail are making the editing process productive and genuinely inspiring. I couldn't recommend her more highly to anyone looking to take their manuscript to the next l...

Pauline was wonderful and completed the project on time. The illustrations were better than I could ever imagine. She is a wonderful artist who brought my book to life. Can't thank her enough!

I can't say enough good things about Helen. She was an absolute dream to work with and provided a thorough, insightful review of my manuscript, along with practical suggestions that genuinely improved the story. Helen understood exactly what I was trying to achieve and her feedback strengthened the manuscript while still preserving my voice. Her comments were thoughtful, encouraging and incredibly professional, and it was clear she had invested real time and care into the project. In fact, ...

James is a fantastic editor. He did a developmental edit of my first novel, helping me develop and build confidence in my writing skills. He was incredibly responsive, professional, and meticulous in his attention to the logic and resonance of every sentence, while also keeping me focused on the overarching structure and tone of the story. I feel so lucky to have had a chance to work with him and would do it again in a heartbeat.

Tiffani is a gem. One you might dream of finding but never do. Well, now you did.

Working with Alan Hebel on the cover for Effortless Clarity was a great experience from start to finish. He was highly communicative, responsive, and easy to work with throughout the process. He stayed flexible as ideas evolved and was open to feedback, which made it easy to iterate and refine the direction. What I appreciated most was how smooth he made the process. There was a good balance between bringing his own perspective and incorporating what I was looking for. The end result is a ...

I have been writing children’s books for going on six years now and have experienced a myriad of professionals who have helped me get my business off the ground. But working with Steve is the first time that I’ve experienced such a condensed world of talent and knowledge of the book industry in one person. In many ways, he provides one stop shopping for an author. Not only does he have enormous talent for creating whimsical illustrations that appeal to children, he is also a book designer...

Ranna did an outstanding job on my book cover and all of my interior design. I loved getting to work with her and see my ideas come to life through her skills and art. Not only is she super talented she is very kind and helps integrate your feedback seamlessly and ensures you love your final product. I would 100% go with Rannia for all cover needs, interior design etc. She is actually doing my second book as well because I loved the experience so much. Thankful is an understatement!

I cannot possibly say enough amazing things about working with Jessica. Not only is she wildly talented (her work is absolutely stunning!), but she is also an incredible sounding board, hand-holder, cheerleader and creative sherpa. She brought my story to life in a way I could never have even begun to imagine and she made my first experience one I will never forget. I will forever be grateful for the comfort and security that came from working with such a competent, confident and caring profe...

Becca was amazing. End of review. I mean, I could (and will) go on. But that's the gist. Becca is everything you want in an editor. She took my story and brought it back to me with thoughtful critiques, suggestions, and points that I had missed no matter how many times I'd gone over it myself. I had finished this story over a year ago and in all that time I missed so many things that could have made it better. Becca helped tease those out, and I found pure happiness revising it after our coll...
