Purchase options
Local prices and eligibility are shown by the App Store. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Manage them in Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Restore purchases and data export remain accessible without a subscription.
Check that Location is set to Always and Precise Location is enabled. Force-quitting, restarting, Low Power Mode, weak signals and iOS scheduling can cause gaps. An hour marked in the journal does not mean continuous movement.
Indoor positioning can drift. FogAway filters low-quality fixes and implausible movement, but no phone GPS can eliminate every error. Short tracks are not precise measurements.
Map images use Apple Maps. A poor connection or a large route can slow or interrupt generation. Try again on a stable connection; you can cancel while generation is running.
Data & Backup exports a ZIP archive of daily GPX files, imports archives exported by FogAway and saves backups to your own iCloud Drive. Restore a selected backup to transfer records. Restoring purchases restores access, not your tracks.
Monthly, annual and lifetime purchases provide the same features. Eligible annual subscriptions include a 7-day trial; monthly and lifetime purchases have no trial. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled in iOS Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions. Lifetime purchases do not renew. Use the purchasing Apple Account and Restore Purchases to restore access.
Yes. Export My Data is available on the subscription screen. Deleting the app does not cancel an Apple subscription.
