Giuseppe Galilei · Creative technologist & AI engineer
I turn early ideas into working prototypes and interactive experiences, bringing together technology, design and storytelling.
I like the stage where a question is still open: explore a possibility, build something people can try, and see what happens.
Based in Salento, Italy. Usually making something, figuring something out, or out on a bike.

Hera Space Companion
An AI experience for exploring ESA’s Hera mission through conversation, mission imagery and interactive spacecraft views. I built it through Impact AI, working with Markus Mooslechner of Terra Mater Studios and the wider project team.
Pyna
A team-built student experiment connecting computer vision, music and lighting. From a hackathon prototype to Maker Faire Turin and Rome—and a lesson in the difference between recognising an expression and understanding a mood.
WAP — With A Purpose
A browser-extension prototype connecting news stories with relevant NGOs. Built with a multicultural team at the European Innovation Academy.
Sometimes the useful thing is a practical tool: running UniFi Network Application with Docker, a better map interaction, or clearer documentation.
My engineering work includes Python, retrieval-augmented generation, conversational interfaces and multi-agent AI. I’m also exploring graphic design, typography and generative design.
I’m interested in people and projects that cross technology, design, science and culture. Especially when there’s an idea we could make tangible together.
