On
session/resume,mcpServersis now the complete set of Client-provided servers. Omitted and[]mean none, Agents SHOULD NOT restore servers from earliersession/new/session/resumerequests, and MCP servers the Agent is configured with outside ACP are unaffected.This matches current Agents:
claude-agent-acprecreates the session when the list changes.codex-acpand Gemini CLI rebuild the list each time from their own config plus the request's servers.v2 session-setup (stable and draft) and the Rust/schema doc for
ResumeSessionRequest.mcpServers. v2 only.
