just a chess game i threw together in a few hours cuz i was bored lol
its chess. with an AI. made in C# with WPF. pretty scuffed but it works
- play against AI (3 difficulty levels - easy is dumb, hard thinks too much)
- play against another human
- watch AI vs AI if ur really bored
- fullscreen mode (F11)
- comic sans everywhere because why not
- pieces have shadows n stuff
- undo button for when u mess up
- AI help button if u need it
- make sure u have .NET 8 installed
- clone this repo
- open terminal in the folder
dotnet run --project CappyChess
or just open the .sln in Visual Studio and hit F5 idk
- sometimes the AI takes forever to think (just wait or restart)
- the dropdown menu looks weird sometimes
- probably other stuff i didn't notice
was learning C# and wanted to make something. took like 4-5 hours total. not gonna lie its pretty janky but hey it plays chess
do whatever u want with it, i dont care. just dont blame me if it breaks
