Physicist by training, programmer by habit. I've been teaching Linux since the late 90s and building Java things since about 2000. These days it's mostly Java, DevOps, containers, and figuring out how to make AI coding assistants actually trustworthy.
- 🛠️ I build and automate: Java / Jakarta EE, Quarkus, Spring, Kubernetes, OpenShift, AWS
- 🎓 I teach: freelance trainer, among others for Red Hat (Linux, OpenShift, Ansible, Kubernetes, Java)
- 🎩 Red Hat Certified Architect in OpenShift, Enterprise Linux and Cloud-native Applications
- 🤖 Currently: ai-assisted-todolist, a full app (backend, web, mobile) built with an AI assistant, with tests first, CI checks and a human deciding on every pull request
- 📍 Osnabrück, Germany
