A pilot partner program for agencies and freelancers who choose the email infrastructure behind their clients. Partners get 60% of subscription and usage fees for the clients they sign up, plus the sandbox, support, and credential a client-facing partner needs. The public affiliate program stays at 50%; this pilot is for partners who want to shape what we offer.
First 20 partners: $50 after the first paid referral, and the first payout minimum is waived.
You introduce a client. We run the email. You earn 60% of what that account pays us — every month it pays — without taking on the infrastructure or the support.
Founding-partner offer
The first 20 partners get $50 after their first referred account pays its first invoice, and the $100 payout minimum is waived for that first payout. The 60% pilot rate stays the same.
Simple monthly plans, with bill-as-you-go overage instead of a hard cut-off. Inbound and outbound share one quota, and domains are unlimited on every plan.
| Plan | Monthly | Included | Bill-as-you-go overage |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pro | $20 | 50,000 emails / mo | $0.50 / 1,000 |
| Scale | $99 | 250,000 emails / mo | $0.40 / 1,000 |
| Business | $399 | 1,000,000 emails / mo | $0.30 / 1,000 |

The commission is the headline. The reason partners stay is that recommending us doesn't create a support ticket with their name on it.
A free Pro account and three client domains, so you can show inbound-as-a-webhook and the send API before a client commits.
Priority support and migration help on your first three client accounts. You keep the relationship; we take the DNS and deliverability questions.
A Certified Partner badge and a place in our partner directory after your first referred account. Useful on a profile, a proposal, or your site.

When someone asks us for help migrating or setting up email, we route the request to a partner with the right specialty. We're building the routing list now.
We never contact your client to sell them anything. You bill your setup and management work; we're the infrastructure behind it.
You already fix SPF, DKIM, DMARC, and inbox placement. You're the person a client asks which provider to use next.
You wire SendGrid, Postmark, Resend, or Mailgun into client apps. MailKite is the inbound half, and a simpler send API when the client wants one bill.
You move clients between Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Zoho, cPanel, and self-hosted mail. Bring the ones who shouldn't be running a mail server.
Every client site needs email. A recurring commission across a portfolio compounds, and one standard provider means one setup you can reuse.
Tell us what you set up, how many clients you handle, and where you work. We reply within two business days.
A short call, then your affiliate code, a Pro sandbox, and a migration checklist you can reuse.
Send them through your link, or create the account with your code in the API call. Both attribute the same way.
Commission accrues on collected invoices, holds for 60 days, then pays out monthly once you clear the minimum.
Two minutes. We'll reply within two business days. If you only want a self-serve link, the affiliate page is faster.
Prefer email? hello@mailkite.dev
No. The partner application is open to agencies and freelancers who set up email for clients. A sandbox account is free and doesn't require a card.
Your link sets a first-party 60-day cookie on mailkite.dev. If you create an account for a client through the API, pass your code in the ref field instead — no browser or cookie required. Both feed the same balance.
The first 20 approved partners get $50 after their first referred account pays its first invoice, and the $100 minimum is waived for that first payout. The 60% pilot rate is unchanged.
Commission runs for as long as the account you referred keeps paying. There's no 12-month cliff and no taper. If they cancel it stops, and if they return on the same account it resumes.
Yes. You can create the account with your code in the provision call, or have the client sign up through your link. You keep the setup and management relationship.
Not yet. Client sub-accounts and consolidated billing are on the roadmap. If you need that for a portfolio of 10+ clients, say so in the application — it helps us prioritise it.
Commission pauses. It's calculated on invoices we actually collect, so there's no clawback beyond refunds and chargebacks.
Start with a sandbox and one migration. If it works, standardise the rest.
