Find every SEO problem on your site. Fix the right ones first.
Sitemoth is the desktop SEO crawler for Mac, Windows and Linux. It runs 240 checks on every page, ranks each issue by impact and tells you exactly how to fix it. Run it yourself, or let Claude, Cursor or Codex run the whole audit for you.

Pro-level crawling, without the pro-level price tag.
Screaming Frog's free version stops at 500 URLs and will not render JavaScript or save a crawl. Unlocking it costs £199 per user, every year. Sitemoth gives you all of it free during launch, and $29 a year after that.
No URL limit
Crawl a 50-page brochure site or a 50,000-page store. Sitemoth saves the crawl to disk as it goes, so memory never caps the size.
Every feature unlocked
JavaScript rendering, saved crawls, crawl comparison, Search Console, GA4, PageSpeed, accessibility and log analysis. Nothing held back.
Built for how you work now
The only desktop crawler with an MCP server. Ask Claude, Cursor or Codex for an audit in plain English and get the fix list back.
Private by design
No cloud account and no upload. Crawls, reports and Google data live on your machine, not on our servers.
Your first audit starts in under five minutes.
No setup wizard, no onboarding call, no sales demo. Download, paste a URL, press Start.
Download and open
Install Sitemoth on macOS, Windows or Linux. It opens straight to the crawl screen, with no sign-up.
Paste your URL and press Start
Sitemoth follows every internal link the way Googlebot does, at a polite speed that backs off when a server pushes back.
Fix what matters first
Every issue comes with a severity, a priority, the affected URLs and the fix. Export it, report it or ticket it.
Everything a technical SEO audit needs, in one window.
Every issue, ranked, with the fix attached.
The overview turns thousands of URLs into one prioritized list, so you start with what costs you rankings and skip the noise.
- Broken links, redirect chains and loops, and redirects that end on an error
- Missing, duplicate and truncated titles and descriptions, measured in characters and pixels
- Canonicals pointing at redirects or noindex pages, and hreflang without return links
- Duplicate and thin content, orphan pages and sitemap gaps
- Structured data checked against Google's rich result rules

Click any URL to see exactly why.
Select a page and see everything a search engine sees: every link pointing to it, every link out, its headers, structured data, and the raw and rendered HTML side by side.
- Inlinks with anchor text and position: navigation, content or footer
- JavaScript rendering in Chromium, with a diff of what scripts changed
- Filters and search across every column of every tab
- Export any view to CSV or Excel in one click

Plugs into the data you already trust.
Connect Google Search Console, GA4 and PageSpeed Insights, and drop in your server logs. Sitemoth joins them to the crawl so you can see which broken pages actually get traffic.
- Search Console: cannibalized queries and pages losing clicks
- Pages ranking 8 to 20 that also have a technical problem
- Server logs: the pages Googlebot never requests
- AI search readiness: robots.txt rules for 19 AI crawlers, plus llms.txt
Search Console
Clicks, impressions and position per URL.

Sitemoth's MCP server gives Claude, Cursor and Codex 24 tools on top of the same crawler. Your agent crawls the site, reads every issue, inspects any URL and turns the result into reports and tickets, without you opening a spreadsheet.
claude mcp add --scope user sitemoth -- npx -y sitemoth mcpOne command adds Sitemoth to Claude Code. The MCP server runs locally on your computer. Setup for every agent.

From crawl to client report to fixed, in one tool.
Sitemoth keeps every client's crawls, branding and alerts together, so one audit becomes a report, a set of tickets and a monitor.
Crawl and file
Each crawl lands in its client's folder automatically, matched by domain.
Report
A white-label report with your logo, a health score and an executive summary, as HTML, PDF or a read-only link.
Ticket
Send fixes to Jira, Linear, Asana, ClickUp, Trello or GitHub, one ticket per problem and page template.
Monitor
Scheduled recrawls with alerts to Slack, Teams, Discord, a webhook or email.
Your data never leaves your computer.
Sitemoth is a desktop app, not a cloud service. There is nothing to upload and no account to create.
Crawls saved locally
Each crawl is one file in Documents/Sitemoth. Open it, copy it, archive it. It is yours.
The MCP server runs locally too
Your agent talks to a process on your own computer, so its crawls and queries never pass through our servers.
Google data goes straight to you
Search Console and Analytics data flows from Google to the app, and your tokens stay encrypted on your machine.
Our servers see something only when you send a problem report, create a share link for a client report, or opt in to usage data. See exactly what is sent and when.

Everything you might be wondering.
Is Sitemoth really free?
Yes. Sitemoth is free during launch, with every feature, no URL limit and no account. When launch ends, you can pay $29 per year, or $199 once for a lifetime license. You will hear about it inside the app before anything changes.
Does Sitemoth store my data on its servers?
No. Crawls, exports, reports, settings and Google tokens stay on your computer. The MCP server also runs locally on your machine. Sitemoth's servers receive something only when you send a problem report, create a share link for a client report, or agree to share usage data.
Is it safe to install?
The Mac app is signed and notarized by Apple. On Windows, the Microsoft Store version is signed by Microsoft and installs without a warning. Sitemoth only reads your site the way a search engine does. It never changes anything on it.
Do I need an AI agent to use Sitemoth?
No. The desktop app runs every crawl, check, report and export on its own. The MCP server is an extra way in for people who already work with Claude, Cursor or Codex.
Which AI agents work with Sitemoth?
Any app that supports local MCP servers, including Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Cursor, Codex, VS Code with GitHub Copilot and Windsurf. See the MCP setup.
Does Sitemoth render JavaScript?
Yes. Turn rendering on and Sitemoth renders pages in a headless Chromium. The JavaScript tab then lists pages where scripts changed the title, canonical, noindex, content or links.
Can I crawl a staging site that needs a login?
Yes, with basic auth, cookies or custom headers. Sitemoth sends them with every request, including rendered pages.
Can I give clients a report?
Yes. Save a white-label report with your logo and colors as HTML or PDF, or create a read-only link the client opens in a browser. See clients and reports.
Can I move over from Screaming Frog?
Yes. Sitemoth opens Screaming Frog's Internal All and All Inlinks CSV exports as a Sitemoth crawl file. It does not read .seospider files. See importing from Screaming Frog.
