After becoming increasingly frustrated with a previous link shortener, I was delighted to find Dub.co. It struck me that if I was going to build a piece of software like this, this is how I would do it.
Their customer support has also been very good. There was a technical issue I had several months ago that they identified and helped me put right. Recently, while trying to change the redirect address on a link I'd already set up, I ran into problems. Not only did they understand the context, but they made it possible for me to do what I needed to do, and very quickly.

They just do wrong calculations, I have no events this billing period and it says I've used 8k events, and after contacting support instead of fixing issue they just said that will fix it for me if I would pay more money to them. Outrageous!!!

My experience with Dub.co has been incredibly disappointing, largely because of its partnership with Hedra, an AI company whose treatment of creators has raised serious concerns about transparency, accountability, and professionalism.

I was previously part of Hedra's Creator Partner Program (CPP), along with numerous other creators. We were explicitly reassured by Hedra's CEO, Michael, that our existing CPP plans would automatically transition to the company's new Ambassador Program, which operates through Dub.co, once our existing codes expired. Those codes were not supposed to expire until November.

Instead, on October 24, creators unexpectedly discovered that their access had been revoked and their accounts downgraded to the Free plan, without adequate warning or any apparent effort to honour the assurances given. (Assurances that were given as recently as 24 hours ago, might I add, and again last week as well.)

When creators sought answers, Hedra directed creators to Dub.co, while Dub.co reportedly indicated that the matter needed to be resolved by Hedra. The result? Creators were effectively bounced between two companies, neither of which appeared willing or able to provide a meaningful resolution.

Adding insult to injury, I have also had a $15 creator payout sitting in my Dub.co account marked as "Pending" since October 1, 2026. More than three weeks later, I am still waiting for those funds to be released, with no satisfactory explanation for the delay.

To make matters worse, Hedra's leadership has publicly suggested that creators using multiple promotional codes contributed to the situation. However, even if multiple codes were used by others, Hedra was responsible for implementing appropriate restrictions, expiration dates, and safeguards. Punishing an entire creator community for their own shortcomings in a company's own systems is unacceptable.

My criticism of Dub.co is that Dub.co has chosen to provide the infrastructure for a program whose management, based on my experience, leaves a great deal to be desired.

If Dub.co wants to position itself as a credible platform for managing company programs, referrals, and payouts, it should take seriously the conduct of companies using its services, and the users affected by it. Allowing partners to make assurances to creators, abruptly withdraw benefits, and leave participants chasing answers and outstanding payments reflects poorly on the entire partnership ecosystem.

Dub.co should be asking Hedra some very difficult questions about its treatment of creators, the handling of outstanding payouts, and whether its Ambassador Program is being administered in a manner consistent with the expectations of creators who were encouraged to participate.

I strongly urge Dub.co to reconsider its relationship with Hedra unless these issues are properly investigated and resolved.

Creators deserve transparency, reliable payment processes, and partnerships built on mutual respect—not broken assurances, unexplained account downgrades, and an endless cycle of being redirected between companies.

Until these concerns are addressed, I cannot recommend relying on Dub.co for a creator program associated with Hedra.

I got 4 withdrawals from affiliates that will never come to my Bank account until they give me invoices with my name on it, have tried contacting them across several sources like tickets on their site ,and haven't got an answer in ten days..

Once you actually get time to respond to your customers i will remove this review.

As an citizen from other country my affiliate earning has never been easier thank you to dub partners for letting me earn my first dollars easily without any international bank hustle and the tracking of leads and payouts were super smooth and e-mails we right on point

They kinda scam. I invited someone using my url they said I'll receive 10 dollars but they added 2 to my balance.

Super helpful customer support and fast to reply, no complaints whatsoever, Great.

I make satisfying smoothie videos for close to 2 million subscribers on YouTube and Dub is a necessity for me now. It's so valuable for me to track which of my social platforms are generating the most clicks and where those clicks are coming from. When a brand wants to work with me, I can show them that 90% of my clicks are from the US. So it has given me a way to prove the value I can offer them. Highly recommend using this as a creator!

Dub.co is the best tool when it comes to shortening / managing links. And the price-performance ratio is perfect. The UI is modern and very appealing. And the functions are great. I can highly recommend Dub.co.

I'm new to copy trading and looked at a few platforms before deciding to go with dub, mostly because it seemed to be the most user friendly platform for beginners. I copied 3 portfolios, and they all showed up, except for the current balance for one of them.

I sent an email yesterday (Sunday!) morning describing the issue. By late afternoon I received a response from Brett Chereskin, the COO. He informed me what he thought was the cause of the issue, and told me it should be taken care of by the next day. This morning I received another response from Brett stating what the issue was, and that it was resolved. Definitely 5 stars for customer service!

I highly recommend dub for copy trading. It's a class act.

I used Bitly previously and after logging into Dub once, I knew this was going to make my life 10x better. We use and trust Dub for everything now — short links to our content, affiliate links, etc.

What does Dub have that Bitly doesn’t? Speed, a modern interface, and an enjoyable experience when creating or grabbing short links. Not to mention awesome, clear dashboards for analytics that the entire team can digest and take insights from.

Have been looking for over a decade at this point for a modern URL Shortener, changing solutions every couple years, and can say that we finally found a home with Dub. The price is also incredibly reasonable especially if you're a business. A no brainer. Love Dub.

I've been using Dub.co as my link shortener and it's been amazing! The ability to update links on the fly through their dashboard is a total game-changer for my production needs. It's super convenient to make real-time updates without having to change the link in our code and redeploy everything.

The support team is incredible. I had a request and the founder, Steven, personally fixed it within a few hours. That level of dedication is rare and truly appreciated.

I transferred all my links (over 5,000) from Rebrandly to Dub. Steven provided support through chat and email with such speed that it was almost unbelievable. He addressed every request I had meticulously.

Updates, including fixes and new features, were implemented in production immediately.

The pricing plans are a no-brainer!

Loved that I could use all the features in the free plan itself, plus had a great customer support experience.

Oh, btw it has really cool features too like custom OG and great analytics.

Although I've only used Dub for a short period, I can already tell it's a great service. It's a great free alternative to bitly and even supports custom domains

Great software idea, definitely my preferred platform for link shortening going forward.
