Currently when you create a Jira case from Intercom, no historical notes from the Intercom request are sent to Jira. The work around is to use Copilot to compile the notes into a summary and then add that after the cases are linked. This is an unneeded step.

Hello Intercom team, we would like to connect Intercom's MCP server to AI Link, a business AI workspace by AI LABS GmbH (Düsseldorf, Germany, https://www.ailink.de). Dynamic client registration currently answers "Redirect URI ... is not in the allowlist, reach out to Intercom Customer Support". Product: AI Link (client_name "AI Link", client_uri https://www.ailink.de)MCP endpoint: https://mcp.intercom.com/mcp (US). If you allowlist EU and AU separately, please include those as well.Production redirect URI: https://api.ailink.de/v1/connections/mcp/oauth/callbackStaging redirect URI: https://api.ailabs-dev.de/v1/connections/mcp/oauth/callbackUse case: each person connects their own Intercom workspace through OAuth, so the AI assistant can look up conversations, contacts and help center content when that person asks. Tokens are stored encrypted. Contact: oleg@ailabs.de Thank you!

Hi Intercom team,Please add Larkgrass to the Intercom MCP redirect URI allowlist.Product: Larkgrass, a hosted AI workspace. Operated by Hadungwra Brahma.Site: larkgrass.comApp: app.larkgrass.comRedirect URI (production): https://app.larkgrass.com/oauth/callbackMCP endpoints: mcp.intercom.com and mcp.eu.intercom.comUse case: each Larkgrass user connects their own Intercom workspace in Connect apps. We use dynamic client registration, then authorization code with PKCE (S256). Tokens stay with that user. Multi-tenant SaaS.We do not have a dedicated Intercom workspace ID yet. Contact: larkgrass@gmail.com / hello@larkgrass.comThank you.

I am using the Jira for Tickets app from App Store and I am using the basic integration with the sync notes enabled,When I create an Intercom ticket it gets created in Jira as well without any issue and the notes are created in Jira each time I create a note in Intercom; The problem is when I send URLs into the note they get duplicated in Jira, below are a few examples of URLs that I sent:https://example.comhttps://example.com/testhttps://example.com/search?q=pythonhttps://example.com/profile?id=123&source=testhttps://example.com/#/dashboardhttps://example.com/#/profiles/123https://example.com/users/123/profile/detailshttps://www.example.com/#/users/test123 They get received in this format <URL>(<URL>) and both <URL> are the same:

We're currently experiencing compatibility issues when using Intercom alongside other push notification platforms, and we'd like to understand whether FID support is on your roadmap. If a migration is planned, could you share an estimated timeline? Thanks!

Hello,Does anyone have experience with the Intercom - Telegram connection?Any insights would help a lot. Thanks, Dilara

I am looking for a way to automatically start new Whatsapp conversations—using approved Templates (triggered by events that are synced from the product to IC).I know that this is not possible with the current Whatsapp integration and that only 1:1 conversations can be started via the Inbox.Does anyone have any ideas on how I could implement this? Has a workaround perhaps been found? If not, an external solution would also be conceivable. I would be grateful for any advice.

hi,I was wonderig if there were plans to allow us to use the Free Salesforce Integrations licenses for integration between Salesforce and Fin.Thanks

We’re looking forward to implementing WhatsApp for Intercom, considering the documentation on integrating the WhatsApp App with Intercom we have some concerns, we hope people who have already done this integration may be able to answer. We’re currently using the WhatsApp API for custom marketing messaging and authentication, it simple, it only redirect the user to our App, however we would like a way to see if the user reply, and if so, for our customer service team to continue the conversation, note that there’s no third party manager of the account, we call the API ourselves, the WABA is hosted on Meta directly, we hope that can be achieved through this integration, so in concrete these are our concerns:If we integrate WhatsApp, we’ll lose access to manually call the WhatsApp API for authentication OTP and marketing messages? Can the API still create new conversations with new users? Can the integration at Intercom see those message, so the Customer Support team see the entire convers

Hello guys,I read a little bit trough the community and the weird thing is how many cases their are about outbounding messages in whatsapp. And i think i speak for a lot of people here and thats just a shame for such a good developed platform not be able to send a whatsapp message to the customer. And even if i wanted to start a conversation from the dashboard i could not even send a message like: Hey “Customer name”, Because variables are not supported……. And don’t let me start about that whatsapp is a PAID add-On. And then i tought maybe it’s just the UI that does not support it. And i looked at the developpers page to send a message trough API.  And it’s not available even their, how much work would it be just to add a option to send it trough whatsapp programatically WITH variables. You already have the API?You could already send a outbound Whatsapp message trough the dashboard? And now i am just stuck, because i cannot connect two partners to my whatsapp account. I cannot recieve m

In the thread here:The replies state “Try a different network – Firewalls or VPNs sometimes block Intercom,” and, “If you’re on a company network, sometimes firewall or VPN settings can interfere with Intercom loading.”I am dealing with a similar situation for some users on a VPN. I found this list of IP ranges intercom content is hosted from; this could perhaps help individuals with the same problem configure their VPNs: https://static.intercomcdn.com/intercom-ips/us/intercom-ip-ranges.jsonHowever I am not sure this list is comprehensive, as I see other IPs associated with requests to intercom:18.161.6.84 - https://widget.intercom.io3.163.24.116 - https://js.intercomcdn.comIf the intercom team could clarify in their official docs which IP addresses are associated with their service, or offer a static hosting solution, that would be appreciated!

Hello team, We are setting up automatic bug report creation in Jira directly from Intercom using the official Jira for Tickets app with custom automation (Workflows). We would like to achieve this using only Intercom’s built-in tools, without relying on third-party integration services (like Zapier/Make) or a custom backend.Everything works great, except for one thing: screenshots and files attached to the Intercom ticket are not being transferred to the newly created Jira issue.Questions: Is the ability to transfer attachments on the roadmap for the Jira for Tickets app, and is there an estimated timeline for this? Is there currently any workaround using built-in tools (Workflows / Data Connectors) that we might have missed? Thank you!

Product or tool name: Airia (https://airia.ai)Exact redirect URI to review:https://auth.airia.ai/OAuth/callbackMCP endpoints targeted: both https://mcp.intercom.com/mcp (US) and https://mcp.eu.intercom.com/mcp (EU). We have EU-hosted customers whose Intercom workspaces are on app.eu.intercom.com, so the EU endpoint is a requirement rather than a nice-to-have. Both authorization servers reject the URI today, so we'd need the allowlist entry on each. Use case and distribution model: Airia is a multi-tenant SaaS platform. Each end user authorizes their own Intercom workspace through OAuth 2.1 authorization code with PKCE (S256); tokens are held in our credential store, encrypted at rest, scoped to the authorizing user, and never shared between users or tenants. Registration is one client per tenant, with per-user authorization on top. Distribution is direct to our own enterprise customers, where Intercom appears as one connector in our integration library, not resold or white-labeled.We h

Hi, does anyone have a current workaround for syncing date fields from Salesforce to Intercom without the date shifting due to timezone differences? We’re sending renewal messaging from Intercom using a Renewal Date field mapped from Salesforce. Unfortunately, the date is syncing as one day earlier than the date in Salesforce. Intercom Support explained that this is because the sync occurs at UTC 0, which is causing the incorrect renewal date to appear in our customer notices.Has anyone found a way to prevent this timezone conversion? Or is the best workaround to create a secondary Renewal Date field in Salesforce that adds one day to the actual renewal date and map that field to Intercom instead?

When an admin sends an outbound email from Intercom, the message exists as a message object but no conversation is created until the recipient replies. Because of this, the API cannot retrieve the outbound email via the conversations API (GET /conversations/{id}) until a reply occurs.Request: allow the API to retrieve admin‑initiated outbound emails immediately after sending, even if the recipient has not replied yet. This would enable better auditing, logging, and integration workflows for outbound communications.

I have the Slack integration working, so all messages sent via the live chat widget on our webiste are going to a Slack channel. How can I set it up so replies in a Slack thread go back to the Intercom conversation, and to the live chat widget? I have tried builing a “Teammate sends any message” workflow, and also a “Teammate adds a note” workflow, but neither one worked. Any suggestions?

Hey community,Trying to connect Intercom to our Discord server and hitting this error:"This bot can't join more servers as it has not been verified or is requesting gateway intents it has not been verified for."Fin confirmed the bot is pending Discord verification and there's no workaround. Raised it with Engineering Support, they confirmed it's a known bug, created a ticket, no ETA.A few questions:Is anyone successfully using the Discord integration right now? Was there a point where it worked and stopped, or has it never worked? Any workaround — e.g. does the server need to be a verified/community Discord server?Seems like a critical gap given Intercom is promoting it as a supported channel. Curious if others are affected.

Hey everyone - just shipped TicketReel, a Canvas Kit app I built for the Intercom inbox. The idea: when an agent resolves a ticket, they add an internal note with the resolution steps, then click Generate Video in the TicketReel panel. The app turns that note into a 60-second branded AI avatar video — scripted by GPT-4o, rendered via HeyGen, captioned via Whisper — and posts the video link back to the conversation as an internal note. The video can be shared with the customer or published to your knowledge base, so the same resolution helps future customers who hit the same issue.Built with Canvas Kit + the Conversations API. Happy to answer any questions about how it works under the hood.App Store listing:https://ticketreel.chriscastle.com/

If you're still on Drift, you've probably heard: Clari + Salesloft announced the gradual sunset of Drift in March 2026, with no hard end-of-life date confirmed. A vague timeline isn't a safety net — it's a risk. Post-acquisition, releases slowed, CSM support was eliminated for most accounts, and a 2025 data breach took the platform offline for ten days with limited communication. That's what you're migrating away from.  Why Intercom? The use case overlap is real. Intercom has evolved into a full AI-first platform that combines live chat, ticketing, and Fin AI in a unified workspace — so if your Drift setup handled both inbound leads and post-sale support, Intercom handles both natively.A few things that matter when you're comparing:Pricing: Drift's minimum entry was $2,500/month. Intercom's Essential plan starts at $29/seat/month and includes a shared inbox, Fin AI, and a help center. Integrations: Intercom offers 400+ integrations across support, analytics, and marketing. Drift's deepe

Hi there.Intercom chat does not load on Safari Mobile (iPhone). The window.Intercom object is not available, and the chat widget does not appear. However, the same implementation works correctly on: Chrome (desktop and mobile) Safari on macOS desktop Expected behavior Intercom should initialize and expose window.Intercom, and the chat widget should be available on all supported browsers, including iOS Safari. Intercom is integrated via GTM and it’s initialized in a React hook: Library: react-gtm-module

Scribe tutorial videos are very helpful for customers.  We would like to embed in Intercom using iframe.  Is this something product is considering, or may have already implemented?

I noticed a regression in conversation webhooks. The regression effects messages with embedded images.Previously, in version of API 2.14 , embedded image in a message (e.g. paste screenshot from clipboard) was send as in webhook as an embeedded `IMG` in conversation part’s body. After releasing 2.15, the behaivor of v2.14 also has changed. The embedded image(-s) are available both in `body` and `attachments`. As a result, users receive a duplicated images in replies. Is there a way to restore the previous behaivour for v2.14 and not include an embedded images in `attachments`? Example of conversation part from webhook payload (v.2.14):{ "type": "conversation_part", "id": "45209530418", "part_type": "assignment", "body": "<p class=\"no-margin\">Image test<br></p>\n<div class=\"intercom-container\"><img src=\"https://downloads.intercomcdn.com/i/o/l4e36xhv/2373221822/cdc43c786608e690132109617c4e/image.png?expires=1778501700&signature=2421a4a292d391e9aeb

Hey Team, Quick question: “Is it possible to create an alert via Workflows or some other means to alert via Slack when a customer rates a conversation with a teammate as poor?” e.g. CSAT Score is 3 or less.Intercom has the ability to alert Slack Channels based on other workflow triggers like no response within X minutes or an unresponsive conversation, but for us to be able to manage DSATs as they happen with a live alert via Slack or some other modality would be super beneficial to our Support Managers and leaders to help coach and improve our teams. Please let me know if any of you have any ideas on how we can institute something like this or build something like this using Intercom and Slack. Thanks again!

Title: How to get our redirect URI allowlisted for MCP DCR?Body:Hi team,We're integrating Intercom's MCP server into our platform, which lets customers connect their own Intercom accounts to AI agents they build with us. When attempting Dynamic Client Registration, we get:POST https://mcp.intercom.com/register{ "error": "invalid_redirect_uri", "error_description": "Redirect URI https://app.integry.io/auth/redirect/ is not in the allowlist, reach out to Intercom Customer Support if you believe we should support it"}A few questions:What's the process to request a production redirect URI be added to the allowlist? Is this handled through Customer Support, developer hub, or a partner channel? Are there review criteria or a security questionnaire we should prepare for? Can we allowlist a staging URI alongside production in the same request? As an alternative — does the MCP server accept access tokens issued by a standard Intercom OAuth app (via app.intercom.com/oauth) as bearer tokens? If
